YOUR FIELD GUIDE

How to play Crisis Island

  1. Lecturer: choose Host a live class and share the six-digit room code or join link.
  2. Students: open this game on your own device, enter the code and a nickname, and join.
  3. Play together: classify reports, assign stakeholders, reorder actions and assemble a message. Every student locks one submission per mission.
  4. Reveal and discuss: the lecturer reveals answers, the class outcome and chapter connections, then launches the next mission.

Eight missions take about 30–40 minutes with discussion. Timers can be extended. Solo practice uses the same missions with your own reveal controls.

Safety, trust and continuity meters are illustrative teaching values. Accuracy earns points; speed does not. Fictional scenarios are adapted from Dr. Faiz’s Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 slides.
